Sunday Services

11:oo AM

Through music, prayer, and preaching, the congregation joins together to glorify God and be renewed in faith and service.

Coffee Time 9:15 - 9:45 am

This is a time for fellowship on Sunday mornings before Sunday School. Members of the congregation sign up to provide snacks.

Sunday School 9:45 - 10:45 am

Sunday mornings are a time filled with laughter, smiles, and friends in a Christian learning environment. There is a place for everyone as we grow in our faith together.


The 3-4 Year Old Class - They enjoy learning about Jesus through songs, stories, and crafts. This class is located in the Children’s Wing on the Lower Mountain Hall.


Children’s Sunday School - is for grades K - 2 - This class provides a structured environment for children to learn about God and share their faith with other children. The class is located in the Children’s Wing on the Lower Mountain Hall.

The Way of the Child Sunday School Class - is for 3 – 5 graders - The Way of the Child Class is for our Children to develop a deeper and more spiritual relationship with God. Among other aspects, the children are learning The Lord’s Prayer and the Apostles Creed in preparation for an understanding of Sanctuary worship.

Middle School Sunday School Class - is for 6 through 8 grades - Lessons center on everyday life and how the Bible helps make good decisions. This class is located on the Upper Mountain Hall.

Senior High Sunday School Class - is for grades 9 -12 . This class has
discussions about issues facing teens and what God has to say about their lives and struggles. This class meets on the upper level of the Lowe Family Life Center.

The Newell Alexander Sunday School Class - includes couples and single adults of all ages. This class is committed to gaining a better understanding of the scriptures and a stronger relationship with Jesus Christ. Different types of learning materials are used to promote in-depth studies of various books of the Bible and Christian beliefs. This class meets in the Upper Academy Hall.

The Frank Browne Sunday School Class - members include couples and singles ages 50+. Lessons center around various books with Biblical support. Members share experiences, opinions, insights, and humor to gain new and/or deeper meanings of the Word of God in our daily lives. The class meets in the Sanctuary Wing.


The Sally Quinn–Earnest Workers Sunday School Class - consists of a
group of women who love the Lord and encourage others to follow their lead. They study the Presbyterian curriculum, “The Present Word”. This class meets in the Lower Academy Hall.


The Naomi Stroupe Sunday School Class - meets in the Ladies Parlor and follows “The Present Word” curriculum. This group of adult women is very supportive of each other through prayer and care. The class is very proud of honoring the legacy of their namesake, Naomi Stroupe, who lived to be 105 years young and was a member of this class. Naomi was a member of First Presbyterian Sunday School classes for more than 100 years. The class is located in the Sanctuary Wing.


The Men’s Bible Class meets for Sunday School on the upper level of The Lowe Family Life Center. This class welcomes men of all ages to study together. Lessons from the Presbyterian curriculum “The Present Word” are taught on a teacher rotation basis.

Children's Worship Services

During our 11:00 am worship service, we have programs for our younger children to engage in God's Word in an age appropriate way. The Children's Worship Center is for children ages 4-7 years old.

Toddler Nursery

Provided during Sunday School and the 11:00 am worship
for ages 2 years to 4 years old by volunteers from the congregation.
